Mindstorm's Storm Front

SwakSmack 0.90 fixes the change in the jellyfish URL and also adds a new beta feature that displays JF photos across the top of the browser.

If you are a Firefox 3 user and install from mindstorm360.com, you need to perform steps 6-8 at mindstorm360.com/ff3

To copy the image url to the clipboard, press ctrl+click on the image.
To paste the image url into the JF post area, press ctrl+shift+click on the image.

Download/install SwakSmack 0.90.

Same as RC7 just testing it being built differently in order to allow me to easily upload it to addons at mozilla.org https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6053

If you are a Firefox 3 RC1 user, you need to update to this version (swaksmack 0.81 RC8).

If you are a Firefox 3 RC1 user, you need to update to this version (swaksmack 0.81 RC7).

Firefox 2 users should also be able to use the RC7 update above, but if it fails to work, then use this latest test release. The two are the same in terms for functionality and features.

The Swaksmack 0.81 RC3 release should fix the product image issue.

Download/Install

To install, either:
1. Click the Download/Install link above and then open with Fire Fox
or
2. Save the file from the link above and then drag and drop the file onto your Fire Fox window and follow the instructions.

It has come to my attention from a few people that someone on another website is spreading false information about the swaksmack extension.

Particularly, as I understand it, there was concern of the extension reading "private PMs"
1. As the main developer, I can tell you that is not the case.
2. The extension is open-source so anyone (other people, JF, you, etc) can review the source and see if any such collection takes place

The first test of the SwakSmack applications for Windows is almost ready for some others to play with, but there are some limitations one needs to be aware of.

• This is a Windows application, does not run as a native Linux or Mac application.
• The application is free for non-commercial use. Should that ever change, you will be notified.
• The .NET 3.5 framework must be installed. If it is not, the application will NOT run.

I should have a new application that uses the JellyFish API to monitor the JellyFish state. If you are interested in testing or think you might be, you'll need the latest Windows .NET 3.5 framework.
