Hopefully the next version will work under both FF2 and FF3, but until I have the extension hosted off of mozilla, you will need to do a few things get the extension working under FF3.
Using both FF2 and FF3 at the same time.
If you don't care about keeping your FF2 profile separate from your FF3 profile, just skip this section.
1. Create a new profile by typing: firefox -profilemanager -no-remote . You should get a screen like this:

2. Follow the wizard and enter a new profile name (e.g. FF3Test)
3. Install FF3 to a separate directory from FF2
4. Update the shortcut to FF3 to use the new profile by default. You can do this by modified the shortcut to point to the FF3 profile. This is down by adding -P ff3profile -no-remote where ff3profile is the profile created in step 1.
5. Start FF3 via that shortcut
6. Type about:config in the FF3 address bar
7. Right click anywhere on the about:config screen and select New-->Boolean enter the name extensions.checkUpdateSecurity and set the value to false.

8. You should now be able to load the extension in to FF3.
