Post Urls Options
The Post Urls options are used to configure the appearance and TinyUrl posting of html links within the chat area.
Create link for all apparent web sites
When checked, the extension will attempt to create a hyperlink from web site addresses that don't begin with the http:// protocol. For example, when checked, mindstorm360.com will be converted into a clickable link. If unchecked, it will not.

Max URL length
This number defines the max url length before the extension will truncate it. URLs shorter than this length are not modified. URLs longer than this length are truncated. Note that just the display name of the URL is truncated, the actual hyperlink is not altered.

Characters to place on the end of the truncated url
This options defines what the extension will place at the end of a truncated url.

Right Click on Statusbar Not Working
If you try to right click on the statusbar and you are not getting the context menu popup for SwakSmack, the problem may be with the installation or configuration of FireFox. I had this problem happen to me with a clean install of FireFox and after 2 days of trying to fix it, this is how I did it.
NOTE: Do this at your own risk. While I consider this “operation” to be easy and straightforward, it could result in data lose if you do not know what you are doing. I am not responsible for any loses, including, but not limited to, data or monetary loses that may result as a following or attempted following of this procedure.
NOTE: This remedy involves deleting files. Granted they are just FireFox profile files, but we’ve all accidentally deleted stuff before and it sucks. If you care about any data, back it up.
Note that there may be a better way and if there is, please let me know.
1. Try creating a new profile or deleting your existing profile using the FireFox tools first. Information on how to manage your profiles can be found here: http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/profile I did not try this first as sometimes I end up “using a bazooka to open a door without first checking to see if it is unlocked” and in hindsight I wish I had as it may have been the easier way. Please try using the FireFox tool first and see if it resolves the problem.
*** If the FireFox profile manager did not help and you really think you know what you are doing ***
1. Uninstall FireFox
2. Locate where you FireFox profile was installed. In Windows (assuming as typical Windows installation), it is under C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_WINDOWS_USER_NAME\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\ where YOUR_WINDOWS_USER_NAME is the username you use within Windows. At this point you may want to copy everything in the C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_WINDOWS_USER_NAME\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\ directory and save it just in case.
3. Since I was the only user on the machine and had only a single profile in which it was happening, I deleted everything in the C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_WINDOWS_USER_NAME\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles directory as well as the pluginreg.dat and the profiles.ini files. If you have multiple profiles, I would first try FireFox under a different profile and see if the problem happens under all profiles or just one.
4. Reinstall FireFox and install the extension. FireFox will automatically create a new profile for you.
At this point everything was working fine for me again. Hope that helps.
